Fabric3 can be run as a small-footprint server or as an extension to Apache Tomcat or Oracle WebLogic. In addition, there is a Fabric3 Maven plugin and Ant Task for performing in-container integration testing. Regardless of the runtime environment, Fabric offers a consistent programming model and configuration experience. This allows applications to be deployed to testing, staging, and production with access to the same features and without configuration variations.
